Replay's Writer-in-Residence Programme
Write Now! was a three-year Writer-in-Residence programme. Writer Kareen Pennefather worked with six schools across Northern Ireland over three years to create a new play for young audiences. These primary school children had an opportunity to tell their stories, and to see their ideas brought to life. In 2011-12 Replay toured the final production; The School Underneath. This exciting project demonstrated our commitment to new writing for young audiences and also presented a rare and important opportunity to work with a small group of children over a three year period.
