In late 2017 Translink approached Replay Theatre Company to discuss the possibility of delivering a community safety message to young audiences in order to highlight some of the dangers their potential customers face at specific locations across Northern Ireland.
Translink provided a brief to Replay which highlighted one of their Core Principles as being:
‘To maintain the highest standards of safety for customers, staff and the general public’
Through this specific community safety campaign Translink wish to fulfil the following objectives:

To maintain the reputation of rail travel as one of the safest ways to travel and that any potential threat is as a result of misusing trains and railway property.

To clearly establish an understanding and awareness of the rail safety messages to all relevant audiences.

Highlight use of CCTV and zero tolerance policy for antisocial behaviour/abuse against staff.
